AWARENESS

Have you ever woken up and just had a funny feeling you were not going to have a good day? Do you wonder what triggered this thought soon after you woke up? This happened to me this morning. I woke up feeling frustrated and irritated and later on feelings of sadness swept over me. I am a very positive person and very aware of my emotions as I do suffer with depression, at times, and I had to get a handle on this before my emotions got worse. As I sat and had my morning coffee I reviewed my last thoughts before I fell asleep then thought about my upcoming day and I soon discovered my answer. The sooner you can tap into these feelings, you can begin to work through your thoughts, find a solution and then you can begin to change your outlook. I truly hate feeling sad or depressed as these feelings have lingered with me my entire life so I was not going to allow myself to fall into that rabbit hole! I chose to want to change my outlook from frustration to feeling more positive. As we all know, when we have a bad day, more of that negative energy just follows you around all day...lol so I said no thank you to that!!

Allow yourself to become more aware of your feelings so you can choose what kind of day you would like to happen!

That's a brutally honest blog post. Thank you for sharing, and giving us insight that even one of the most gifted and giving people I know has their own challenges and shows how she deals with them.
